Police are reportedly investigating a third domestic violence incident related to The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen, according to a police spokesman who spoke to NBC News.
The outlet reports that Dakota “contacted the West Jordan, Utah, Police Department last month with allegations of domestic violence against Paul stemming from an incident in 2024.” The spokesperson said they’re “reviewing multiple videos connected to the alleged event to figure out details and timelines,” and that they’ve spoken with Taylor’s attorney, but not Taylor herself. NBC News notes that their reps declined to comment.
On top of this, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed to People on March 16 that there’s an open "domestic assault investigation" between Taylor and Dakota (with "allegations have been made in both directions") due to incidents on February 24th and 25th.
Meanwhile, The Bachelorette has been canceled due to TMZ releasing footage of a 2023 domestic incident between Taylor and Dakota. Her rep told Variety post-cancellation, “Taylor is very grateful for ABC’s support as she prioritizes her family’s safety and security. After years of silently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation, Taylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm. There are too many women who are suffering in silence as they survive aggressive, jealous ex-partners who refuse to let them move on with their lives. Taylor has remained silent out of fear of further abuse, retaliation, and public shaming. She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.”
Filming on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has also been paused at this time.
